A downloadable game for Windows

Physics driven pinball shoot ‘em up with a grappling hook. Blast through gauntlets of enemies while using your grappling hook to swing around the chaotic environment inside a pinball machine. Try to best your own skills in the arcade-y shoot ‘em up with a unique, modern twist.

This is a prototype representing a project under development. My goal in sharing it is to gather feedback which will influence the design and features of the game moving forward. If you would like to help the project be the best it can, please fill out the feedback form on the game’s main menu after you have spent some time playing it. Thank you!

Controls

MOUSE CURSOR to Aim

RIGHT CLICK to fire Grapple Beam

LEFT CLICK to fire Weapon

A and D keys to flip Left and Right Paddle, respectively

Install instructions

Windows 

The game is currently only in development for Windows. A possible macOS version will be explored in the future.

  1. Download the “PinballRenegade.zip” file using the download button.
  2. Locate the “PinballRenegade.zip” file on your device. Right click then click “Extract All…”
    1. Choose a location to store game files on your device.
    2. Click “Extract”
  3. Open the newly extracted folder.
  4. Double click the file titled “PinballRenegade.exe” to run the game.
  5. Windows will likely try to block you from running the program. Click “More info” then “Run anyway” if this happens.
